Back in 2001 founder Tim Bishop, fresh from protesting outside uranium mines in central Australia, was studying renewable energy at Swinburne TAFE in Hawthorn. Since then Man With A Van has helped work towards a cleaner more renewable world with various environmental initiatives.
Since 2006 we've been carbon offsetting our entire fleet of vans and trucks by planting native trees with Greenfleet (that's 3,820 trees and counting!). Here's a link to an article about the drastic difference that's made to Minjelha Dhagun, a forest in Queensland.
We've virtually eradicated paper use in our office, and on the road, with a custom-made entirely digital mobile scheduling system, no trees have to die to move your house!
